Absolutely adorable! I am extremely impressed with his handwriting, and the correct spelling of the word “your,” though I guess that could be because he doesn’t know the other one yet? Thanks for sharing!

  6. This is super cute, but I’m also emerging from the lurking-woodwork to tell you that CJ has phenomenal handwriting for his age!!

Happy Mother’s Day to all, whatever mothering status you have and whatever relationships you have to the various mothering figures in your life.

Here is an awesome article from the huffington post:

That’s an amazing level of self-awareness for someone his age. I probably drove my mom up the wall when i was that age, only I wasn’t so aware of what i was doing.

Laughing. And from a OT CJ has excellent handwriting. Enjoy your day Lori. It is the first for my wife and I with our six year old earlier this year. Our son feels happy for his Mama(me) and Mommy (my wife). But even this holiday can be interesting, our son came home from school upset because the art teacher only let him make one card but “I have 2 moms and she said I lied and I was being silly.” These mama bears were not thrilled. I did however get a email from his amazing teacher that “J was extremely upset after art class, he made a second card during recess and several of the other students were making fun of him and calling him a liar, weirdo and a fag’s son.” 1st graders!
